It’s very important not to overheat your baby, so we recommend buying baby clothing that you can easily take off, one layer at a time, ensuring she stays at the perfect temperature - neither too hot or too cold.

Warm extremities
Little socks are important if you have baby clothing that does have feet already sewn in, such as dresses or all-in-one vests. This stops her feet and toes getting icy cold when inactive. Check there aren’t any loose seams or threads inside the socks that could get caught around her tiny toes.

Young babies often scratch themselves without meaning to as they flail their arms and legs around. Their fingernails can mark their delicate, soft skin.
